She is part teacher, part coach, and part cheerleader, with the unique ability to help clients look at organizing problems from a variety of perspectives. Elizabeth is frequently in demand as a public speaker. Some of her recent speaking engagements include: “Staging Sells” to real estate professionals, “A Compassionate Look at Downsizing & Relocation for Elders” to candidates moving into a retirement community, “Balancing Work and Life” for Concord Business and Professional Women, “How to Organize Your Household and Find Your Keys” to Mothers in Windham, “How to Maintain an Organized Home While Working Full Time” for Women In Networking, and “Plan the Work and Work the Plan” for the Women’s Business Center and MicroCredit-NH. She has also been interviewed by the NH Business Review, The New Hampshire Union Leader, the Colby-Sawyer Spotlight for Alumnae, Portsmouth Community Radio WSCA-LP 106.1, and WGIR Clear Channel Radio in Concord.
Elizabeth conducts workshops and seminars for business professionals, parents, teachers and students. Her lecture topics range from business process analysis to becoming a well organized student.
Prior to opening her business in the summer of 1997, Elizabeth was responsible for establishing and managing systems training and business process improvement at Commonwealth Energy System (now NSTAR), Cambridge, MA.
- Elizabeth is a graduate of New Hampshire's Colby-Sawyer College and received her BA in Humanities from Thomas A. Edison State College.
- She is a certified Consulting Hypnotist and certified HypnoCoach and offers these services to her organizing clients as well as the public at Sheehan & Early Hypnosis Center in Deering, NH; a practice she shares with her husband and partner, Dr. John Sheehan.
- Elizabeth is an active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, the NAPO-New England Chapter, and has been instrumental in starting a chapter for professional organizers here in NH.
- She is a member of the ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association) and the IAC (International Association of Coaches.)
- Giving back to the communities in which she works, Elizabeth mentors women who are new business owners. She is an active member of the Women's Business Center, and recently completed her term as a member of the Board of Directors.
She was honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration as their 2006 "Women in Business Champion of the Year." She also received "The Women's Entrepreneurial Spirit Award" from the Mary M. Dumais Memorial Fund. In addition to managing her businesses, Elizabeth also writes for a variety of interests, and authors a monthly column for her local chamber of commerce.
